Bn September, the good news was confirmed Netflix series Sex education is reportedly back for a fourth season and fans are already looking forward to the next installment.
It will be fascinating to see where the series goes after season three, all eight episodes of which aired in September, especially as the characters are more mature and Upper Moordale appears to have been closed.
Season 4 will still be around for a while, but read on to find out what we know so far and when we can expect to get down to it again.
When will Sex Education season four be on Netflix?
As the third season hasn’t aired for a long time, and the fourth wasn’t confirmed until a little over a month ago, we’ll have to have a little patience here, but luckily Sex Education is one of the most efficient shows in terms of turnover and production speed.
So, with writing underway and filming slated for Spring / Summer, with production to follow, we can probably expect to see season four on Netflix between September 2022 and January 2023, depending on your optimism.
Sex Education Season 4 Casting
The good news for fans of the show is that there shouldn’t be any big names dropping out of the new season, with most of the characters set to reprise their roles.
Those already confirmed for season four include Gillian Anderson (Jean Milburn), Asa Butterfield (Otis), Emma Mackey (Maeve), Ncuti Gatwa (Eric), Connor Swindells (Adam), Lou Wood (Aimee) and Kedar Williams-Stirling ( Jackson).
We also know there will be new faces, including two new trans characters, as a cast has been shared online.
Sex Education Soundtrack
We don’t know much about the soundtrack for the new season yet, but it will certainly be a success, as it has been in the previous three seasons.
The season three soundtrack featured a wide range of music for all moods, including Bob Dylan, Flou, Todrick Hall, Wizkid, Ezra Furman and much more.
