‘Top Gun: Maverick’ Soundtrack Tracklist Revealed

New details have been revealed for the highly anticipated soundtrack Superior gun after. Music from the movie Top Gun: Maverick is set to arrive via Interscope Records on May 27, the same day the film hits theaters.

Yesterday, Lady Gaga released their original song for the film, “Hold my hand,” produced by herself alongside frequent collaborator BloodPop, with additional production from Benjamin Rice.

Another new original song featured on the soundtrack is “I Ain’t Worried” by a republic. Fans will be able to preview the single on May 13, before the soundtrack is released.

Besides, Top Gun: Maverick features the classic theme song from the original film, “Danger Zone” by Kenny Loggins, as well as a live version of the film’s star, Miles Teller, singing the classic “Great Balls of Fire” by Jerry Lee Lewis. The soundtrack will also include an original score by composers Lorne Balfe, Harold Faltermeyer, Lady Gaga and Hans Zimmer.

“This album continues the musical legacy that the original Superior gun ignited in 1986. We are thrilled that Lady Gaga and OneRepublic are lending their artistry to put a modern spin on the already iconic and beloved soundtrack,” Top Gun: Maverick producer Jerry Bruckheimer said in a statement about the soundtrack.

According to the official logline, “Top Gun: Maverick visits Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell (Tom Cruise) after more than thirty years of service as one of the Navy’s finest airmen. Maverick is where he belongs – pushing the boundaries as a brave test pilot and dodging rank advancement that would ground him. When he finds himself training a detachment of TOPGUN graduates for a specialized mission like no pilot alive has ever seen, Maverick meets Lt. Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), call sign: ‘Rooster’, the son of the Maverick’s late friend and Radar Interception Officer, Lt. Nick Bradshaw, aka “Goose”. Facing an uncertain future and dealing with the ghosts of his past, Maverick is drawn into a confrontation with his own deepest fears, culminating in a mission that demands the ultimate sacrifice of those chosen to pilot it.
