A Wellingborough musical theater troupe will host an afternoon of mind-blowing entertainment and mouth-watering cakes to raise funds for their shows.
The Wellingborough Musical Theater Society has invited special guest Maurice Kachuk, singer, dancer and complete performer, to step onto the stage at the Masque Theater at Barton Seagrave.
Taking place on Friday, August 27 at 2 p.m., the Chants et Danse show will replenish the group’s coffers and help them finance their next musical.
A spokesperson for the Wellingborough Musical Theater Society said: “The society needs to raise funds for us to play other great musicals.
“Our spectacular staging costs a lot of money, especially the shows that we know, you, the audience, enjoy – we love to present them.
“Maurice Kachuk is such an artist and he will do just that. He has performed with the company on several occasions playing the lead role in ‘Singing In The Rain’, directing and choreographing several other shows for us.
“Come join us at our first fundraising event. We know you will have a great afternoon of song and dance and there will be so many delicious cakes. Your support will be greatly appreciated.”
The song and dance performance takes place at the Masque Theater, Latimer Community Arts College, Castle Way, Barton Seagrave. Tickets cost £ 12 which includes afternoon tea to be served during intermission. Call 07486 684586 for tickets.
